Preventing Scorpion Infestations
Prevention is a far better alternative to fighting a scorpion infestation on your property. Here are a few tips to help you keep them at bay.
- Keep brush and debris away from your property. If you store firewood in your yard, keep it at least 30 feet away from your home.
- Limit the presence of rocks in gardens and play areas.
- Repair all water leaks from air conditioners, pipes and irrigation systems as soon as possible. Wet, warm conditions attract scorpions.
- If you do find live scorpions in your yard or home, contact a pest control company immediately for professional help.
